Pup is worried

Just thought I would update another time. Nothing happening yet -no rain, just a few pinecones in the yard and it's almost midnight. The dogs are now in for the night. Pup of course is our biggest dog and the biggest baby of the dogs. Ed and I are no comfort to him at all. He has never liked the beginning of rain and is deathly afraid of thunder and lightning. The other 2 beg to go out in stormy weather. I decided to help Pup out and call my friend Sarah to sit with Pup. She has my vote, what about you guys. Pup thought Trig was a little frightened too so he wanted to hold his hand. All together now, Awww...........

Reality has set in

Reality is not my friend.....I am wide awake and not in my dream world and this is what I get. Michael is not in the background cheering me on. When I was a ballerina he would tell me "you go girl" If you don't believe me, go back to my dreamy blog and just listen. Where, oh where were you when I wanted to hear it so bad. I was here, in my kitchen, with the dog bowl and garbage can for all to see. REALITY. What do I think? It stinks (not just because I was by the garbage) I am going to go do some situps.
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will they be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice........oops.... That dream was when I was 8 years old.............NO,NO,NO, that's not the dream I just had. I was so bored waiting for Ike to show up I fell asleep. I HAD A DREAM!!!!! It was about me dancing. I was dancing and dancing and then Ed showed up. Just watch. I will warn you that my dream was only the first 3 minutes not the PG-13 part. Why did I wake up?

No news is good news

Well, well, I am now an official blogger. Thanks to Ike that is. I imagine we will become best friends before all this is over. BFF for the younger peeps. However, I don' t think I will have any of those reading my blog. Most of this will go to the AARP crowd. Not much is happening here so far. WalMart is closed but Randall's was open for Ed to go get some more things to stock up on. I am not cleaning house, ironing, or making scones. I do have a couple of cans of refried beans and Ed got some flour tortillias (wheat was all that was left) There was no charcoal left at the store, but lighter fluid was available to all. He bought that. Don't exactly know why. I am not asking. I will post every so often as things progress. I have never done this so I hope it works.
